In 2023, FORTHESQUIRRELS.COM officially launched - a simple passion project that lasted for a very short 8 months would turn into something almost impossible to fathom. While it began at simply posting interesting squirrel blogs and videos, we ended up learning to manage a business, code HTML and sell merchandise - fundraising a wildlife campaign. Within the span of 243 days, a passion project somehow realized into a very real effort to raise awareness to causes such as deforestation, pollution, and the ongoing climate crisis. After those eight months, I realized that I needed to redefine the entire project - because I had stepped out of my comfort zone and expanded the idea significantly, it was no longer simply "for the squirrels." So, taking a step back, me (and a few volunteers) wanted to make a destination, and define it as a place to step outside our comfort zones, and focus on many projects and ideas at once. So after taking some time to understand what that meant logistically - we made 'Lastweek.today.' Just like with FORTHESQUIRRELS.COM, it started as something small (a weekly blog post editorial) - to now a collaborative hub that specializes in music projects, art and animation, wildlife conservation (we didn't forget about that one :)) and editorial works. Through the next coming months, you can expect a rapid increase in project output, and if you'd like to work with us, please, fill out the collaboration form at the footer of the website! Here's a small description for our current projects, and perhaps what is expected to come soon;
